undergraduateMy general teaching areas are International Relations, Social & Political Theory, war, visual culture, Museum Studies, Cultural Studies, Science & Technology. I teach across all levels of the undergraduate curriculum, and I run my own Level III module 'War, Visual Culture and Surveillance' which looks at representations of war (e.g. photography, film, media), infrastructures of visual surveillance, and visual technologies used to execute war (e.g. drones, satellites).

mastersI am the pathway convener for the new taught MA in Global Security and Borders which offers students the opportunity to undertake internships with institutions such as the PSNI, Dept. of Foreign Affairs, HM Passport Office and local government departments. The programme started in 2017 and we are expanding our internship partners every year. See below for more information
